What does AchieveIt Tutoring offer?
AchieveIt provides one-on-one online tutoring for HSC, IB and Year 3 to 10 students across Sydney. Lessons are delivered by high-achieving alumni and cover subject content, exam technique, essay drafting and study skills. We also run dedicated HSC and IB mentoring programs and essay review services.
Are lessons online or in person?
All AchieveIt lessons are run online via Microsoft Teams. Students can work with top HSC and IB alumni regardless of their suburb in Sydney, share digital whiteboards in real time, and rewatch lesson recordings before exams.
How much does tutoring cost?
Year 3-6 tutoring is $75 AUD per hour, Year 7-10 is $85 AUD per hour, and HSC and IB tutoring is $95 AUD per hour. Each level also has a discounted 10-hour pack (a 10% saving). Packs expire 6 months after purchase and there are no joining fees.
Who are the tutors?
Our tutors are high-achieving HSC and IB alumni studying at leading universities. Each tutor specialises in the subjects they excelled in, and full bios with results and subject lists are available on our tutors page.
How do I get started?
Submit an enrolment enquiry and we reply within 24 to 48 hours to arrange a free consult. The consult covers the student's goals, learning style and availability, then we recommend the tutors we think fit best so you can choose. If the fit isn't right you can switch tutors at any time.
How does booking sessions work?
Booking is seamless through our online parent and student portal. You can see each tutor's real-time availability and book or reschedule sessions in a few clicks, in line with our cancellation policy. Every lesson gets its own Microsoft Teams link automatically, and you receive lesson reminders so nothing is missed, with no back-and-forth over email or text to lock in a time.
How do you keep me in the loop?
Yes. The portal shows your package balance and hours remaining at a glance, so you always know where you stand. After each lesson your tutor adds progress notes so parents can see exactly what was covered and how the student is going. Session recordings are also saved to your account, so students can revisit any lesson and get the most out of every session before exams.
